3-day Physical Sculpture Workshop

This experimental movement-research workshop invites immigrants in Shenzhen to gather together to share different embodied experiences through movement and storytelling. In the ever-changing public space with rich sensory elements, the artist performed a series of improvisational choreography about the senses. In the interaction between sound, space and body, the gathered bodies receive more information and structural changes as they listen. The language of choreography (moving-whispering) is shaped and communicated with the energy of the field. How can the memory hidden in the body be stored in the space that is constantly being demolished and rebuilt?
